Can KVM passthrough graphics card without VT-D?

Howdy!

My CPU Motherboard and BIOS don't have passthrough capabilities no VT-D :(

So I was wanting to know if a container on KVM could use a graphics card on the node without IMMOU (or is it IMMUO?)

  • Less likely that you will be able to so that.

I smell mining ideas going on... :)

    I've changed my initial question.

An no I don't think my tiny CPU would be able to mine and I'm not interested in that...

I just want to be able to use a Windows OS on KVM with my graphics card passed through.

  • You'd need VT-d for that. Unless you're willing to compile QEMU yourself perhaps?

  • Well I was hoping that since the node doesn't need the card at all it could be set up for the container... But I guess that's passing it through which is what VT-D is needed for :(

It's a shame really I just want to use it on a Windows KVM....
