It's okay. Only my oven, microwave and toaster are connected.
I knew this'd happen :P
lol sorry to state the obvious, but why the flip do you need an internet controlled fridge...
I saw a fridge once with a webcam that could be accessed remotely from your smart phone to see what you have left inside ^_^.
That is pretty cool.
So wait, someone could "hack" into your fridge and control it? Could you imagine having your freezer shoot ice cubes at you...
Lol
@skybucks100 So a fridge could kill you? OMG ITS GONNA HAPPEN
Ah!
No wonder my drinks have been disappearing.
Oh you mean the Coca Cola? That wasn't me...
I have network points in my new kitchen specifically for this, as well as fire monitoring and IP cameras - none of it is public facing though.
In my previous shared office environment, I wanted to find out who ate all my cereal when I was called out on an interstate install. Unopened box before I left, labelled with my company name on it - whoever ate it left me the courtesy of leaving it in the cupboard empty.
With new technology like this, we will finally have the answers.
Should I be concerned that my toilet is connected to the internet? I mean there are Trojans for the fridge what about the toilet?
I think you need to worry more about the bidet......
