P410 w/256mb/512mb/1gb cache module
Edit:
C1100 supports LSI 2008/9260 so you could use LSI 9260 if you want to. PERC h700/800 otherwise.
Did you had any issues with Dell C1100?
That was my first choice but i have seen mixed reports.
yes but the P410 is such an amazing value to resist
I don't personally use them but know few people/hosts using the Dell C1100 with the P410 without issues for several months now.
Afaik the P410 will work only on HP machines, the P400 might work on the dell machine
EDIT: I maybe wrong.
Is that firmware problem?
My bad, you'd want a PERC H700/800 in that case which is dells own or the LSI option.

Never used Dell RAID cards so can't speak for them, LSI has been great.
Something of that sort as I recall, but yeah as @INIZ said, the Perc is the way out as suggested on dells website as well.
The only problem is they cost as much as the server
I think will ship one P410 as concept proof and see what happens.
Someone mentioned in the past an IBM rebranded LSI controller ... cannot track the post anymore
Yes it seems like it'll work, worth a shot;

IBM M5014 and M5015 can be re-flashed to 926x equivalents.
You guys are amazing ...
In less that 15 min and in real time problem solved ...
I think there should be a donate button everywhere
