What I use for my personal emails:
Cloudflare inbound as a mail router/firewall
Amazon outbound pushing mails to their destination
Random provider or local solution for mail management
(Above is all free)
Partially still using Microsoft 365 Business.
Abandoned Google Workspace because it’s just a Microsoft copy with less features.
I see, Is MS 365 good?
(tbh, I have many negative experiences with Microsoft Products and feel so many stress)

I'm back!
What do you mean...?
hmmm, thanks
zoho. Been using for 7 years for our small organization.
Is they good? I'm just an small personal group, and cannot pay a lot.... so
They are one of the best out there. Free for 5 users, paid plan is also awesome.
What service from Zoho are you using more specific?
Mxroute
$30 for 3 years
Where are your emails being stored?
Does MXRoute have incoming mail too?
Yes.
Mostly email and team-chat.
MXRoute, their 2023 blackfriday deal is still up.
I don't rate Zoho, they had multiple day outages before affecting many mail clients, including enterprise clients, their tech support was like a skit on Indian customer services centers, and the special privilege phone numbers for paying customers we had played a recorded messaged saying email [email protected].
Google Workspaces has been absolutely stellar, the value proposition is insane, especially now even Business Starter includes pooled storage.
Somewhat related, AWS has abandoned WorkDocs with a shutdown approximately 12 months away, I would be cautious about AWS WorkMail too in light of the above.
One of the best parts about Zoho though is that it isn't Google. I don't trust Google to not shut down anything with their poor track record of making new products and shutting down other ones that aren't making them enough money. I can't call Workspace good value either when Exchange Plan 1 from Microsoft is cheaper.
Multiple storage at different locations, examples are free german, american and chinese e-mail providers like gmx.de, gmail, outlook, qq etc. self-hosted is also an option. (Yes I store my emails, categorized, all over the place haha). In the past I used to switch accounts after they have been filled with spam, but since using proxy addresses I can simply assign one alias to each service and simply exterminate them when I notice a specific alias being contaminated. Copied this from apples private relay feature.
