you may check out my discussions, i ever open one thread like this too. You may see the response from other. What can i recommend was offshore one vps. And i doubt your torrent thing was legal right ?
This may seem like a stupid question because its still illegal but I'm interested...
If you were to download something via torrent (such as a movie for example) then immediately download it from the server to your home PC and delete the movie from the server - as providers, would you still terminate if you found this was going on?

just dont get caught, get a vps that has a bad support..because that proves the staff are sleeping all day and not monitoring their servers and tickets..

On second thoughts about my post though, i cant imagine many providers would openly say "Yeah thats fine!" cos they would be opening themselves up to abuse I guess.

no matter if the vps provider allows or disallows it, torrenting warez remains always a not so legit thing to do

Downloading copyrighted stuff isn't illegal, but the problem with torrents is that you also need to upload it. And that is illegal. You can disable uploading tough. But either way you are a dick.

Depends. Copyrighted movies, music etc. are legal to download, but unlicensed software for example is not.

The torrent protocol isn't illegal I believe Facebook incorporated the protocol to push large updates from/to many servers.
Some countries (mine at least ) (not sure if this still exists) will allow you to hold a copy of something you don't own let's say a brand new movie for 24 hours then you must remove it and not share/distribute to any one.
As Zen said torrenting isn't "warez" and isn't illegal please get your facts straight before posting such ludicrous things....
