HTTP Zoom (www.httpzoom.com) is a new brand launched by HTTP Simple (www.httpsimple.com) geared towards the lowend market.

We have, for several years, provided premium quality hosting, VPS and dedicated services. Our aim is to now bring that same level of quality and customer support into the Lowend Market place.

How are we different from the rest?
1) We have a long track record in making our customers happy
2) We already have existing infrastructure being used from our parent company, who have been successful since 2007.
3) We use insane hardware for our lowend platform. How many others are using 15k SAS drives in Raid 10!!

Why haven't we posted much within Lowendtalk?
Being new to the lowend VPS game we have only just started to establish our brand.

Why come into the low end market?
We aim to provide HTTP Zoom as a stepping stone for customers looking for premium services. However that does not mean that we will take every opertunity to coherse you into getting a premium service. HTTP Zoom will be a self sustaining company.

Hello Everybody! Hope you are all having a pleasant day!
Alright, to start off. I was one of those customers left hanging by the failure of DMB Hosting and was like WTF? But they did say this one group (httpsimple) would help save customers. So I shot them an email and were very kind of to explain that they were surprised as well to get mentioned in the bye bye email of DMB Hosting and said it may be difficult for them to retrieve my data. But thankfully I had no important data left with my VM at DMB and simply decided to get their service.
So quick summary. Support = totally awesome. They were very helpful in communication and setting up the 2 week trial VM. The support personal is very knowledgeable and the dude knows his stuff . The VM I just got went through some initial testing and have to say I'm rather impressed. dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync showed it completed in 5.16461s with speeds of 206 MB/s. Pretty fast right? Other tests showed rather good results. So I'm expecting some good performance from this company.
Alrighty! Even though everyone is on a BuyVM stock rush give these guys a try and provide them with some honest, complete reviews! They like it! Have a Good Day!

Is this trial based on the plans you offer or the refugees plan they had with DMB?

The trial was really for DMB-hosting ex-clients as they included us, without discussion, in their "goodbye" email. We therefore feel some responsibility for those customers and would like to help them out.

If your a none DMB-hosting customer and would like a trial you'll need to message sales and we can see if that can be arranged.

I was a DMB client, I had a 64mb VPS but you do not have a plan similar to this. I have no interest in taking out a larger plan so the trail would be of no interest unless you would let me continue with that plan I had with dmb.

Apparently the "7.5off" discount doesn't apply to annual billing of the VPS1 plan.

Sorry about that we have just turned it on. If you have any further problems feel free to contact us via email incase we miss any posts here.

This might sound like a strange thing for a provider to say, but we were not expecting to coming into a new market and have people sign up for a yearly service straight away.

If you want to that is fine, however if you'd like to sign up for a monthly service and then swap to yearly after a few months we would be happy to keep the discount code valid.

A lot of guys are gun shy and want to put the absolute smallest amount of money at risk. My sentiment, though, is that I don't want to be nickle-and-dimed by trivial monthly bills. And I assume you would rather avoid the expense of 12 billing cycles. Win/win!
