The SSD will give better performance, since you wouldn't really run out of RAM if your DB isn't too big.
SSD for heavy MySQL usage for sure. Although you van make it wat more memory, I/O is usually the bottleneck.

Well the answer is both, the question is how you configure mysql Ram is faster than SSD so depends how big your DB is and how well written things are.
