Large Storage VPS - 250GB

Anyone know what providers offer large storage VPS besides Backupsy?

I am looking for something similar to this:

1+ vCPU

512MB RAM

250GB+ Storage

KVM/XEN preferred

Around $6/month as thats what Backupsy offers. Let me know what you got.
(Backupsy is $10/month but they have a 40% off promo code)

We can do this if you are willing to accept Openvz. Can bump RAM to 512MB for free.

Thanks but BuyVM only gives 256mb of RAM in their 250GB plan. I'll check out Fliphost.

How about Greenvaluehost's recent Offer post. 290GB/4GB for $5/mth =)

  • BuyVM's 250gb is $7 with KVM/2 CPUs/256MB RAM.

But there are some even better Backupsy deals still valid: 250GB for $5 with the code HOLYMOSES and 500GB for $7 with GOTMEADEAL. That second one is pretty hard to beat.

  • Every time I've tried to order from Backupsy, they are out of stock in LA. :(

  • Fastboxes.net can offer the following for $5/month

    2vCPU

    1024MB RAM

    250GB Storage

    OpenVZ

  • I need a 100GB backup space. Any cheaper options to recommend?

  • I just realized @serverian Backupsy's 250MB is actually $5/m with 512MB KVM. I will go with them :)

Heads up that with them, you have to pay extra if you wanna use the KVM for anything other then backups.

Backupsy all the way. We have their 500GB UK VPS and haven't had any problems since we got it.

  • KVM offers is less than openvz...

Since I just using it for backup purposes, that's just fine.

  • @serverian Don't you allow some locations to run whatever they want? Or have I officially gone off the deep end?

UK and NL as long as they are not CPU and IO intensive.

  • I just got 1 vps today from backupsy and their support are seriously FAST .. and Triple A+++
Too bad the source I wanted to backup is in LA Quadranet and only their LA Node (believe in the same DC too) can provide me good speed . but my other VPS in IL is having good speed with backupsy's others locations also

I have not found why . My Quadranet node only able to have good speed in LV/IL and LA nodes .

anyway , although customer for a Day !! BackupSY support are great , keep it up
