Paypal micro transactions
Amazon payments is another with microtransactions.
And also humble store widget.
Google Wallet? OR Bitcoin. :P
Didn't they close that one?
bitcoin
Bitcoin +1
I think that was Google Checkout.
What do you guys think about Authorize.net? They charge $0.10 per transaction.
PayPal micro payments.
I think Bitcoin is safe if you can sell the coins immediately after you receive it.
Safe is relative, depending on Bitcoin volatility.
And you have to factor in the transactional overhead for handling Bitcoins, selling them immediately once you receive them AND periodically transfer the money away from the exchange. As a seller, I'd never accept Bitcoins for micro transactions.
Authorize.net charge more than $0.10 per transaction. It needs to be paired off with merchant account. You'll get close to 2.9% + 30c with them as well for online transactions.

This has been a solved problem for the past 2 years. See https://bitpay.com/ and https://coinbase.com/.
