Gullos hosting in NY blocking cloudflare ?
Hello everyone,
My website isnt doing very well... in seo... And i dont really want to spend that much on the hosting if the website doesnt convert well, but i dont want to shut it down either.
So i decided to move it to something really cheap like gullos NAT vps that costs only 4$ a year for 256MB of ram which would be plenty.
The problem is... i bought one of the servers in NY and once i point AAAA record from cloudflare to the vps ipv6 and try to open the website i get "Connection timeout 522". I couldnt figure out whats wrong so i tried the other vps that i have with gullos that is located in germany. Set up EVERYTHING exaclty the same and... it WORKS.
Thing is germany server is only 128mb and i use it for other things.
Has anyone had any similar problem with gullos ? I tried contacting support but... i have a feeling they wont respond...

Idk it's hard to know if problem is because of cloudfare or because you didn't setup your vps correctly.
remove cloudflare and access it via the ipv6 address instead. Alternatively if you don't have ipv6 just get a cheap dedicated ipv4 vps, or even better shared hosting so you don't have to configure it as much.

@Cam might be interested in this.
If i disable cloudflare proxy and then try to wget mydomain.com from the german server i get the hello world html that i set up. I tried other online ipv6 browser and they all do open that hello world html when i have cloudflare proxy disabled, but once i do enable it. All online services and my browser just shows cloudflare error 522. The vps is absolutely clean, nothing in iptables.
Ow... and gullos didnt mention this anywhere... nice... thanks for the info, i guess i wont have to look anywhere else...
I just checked germany server and ipv6 belongs to hetzner.. still gullos could have mentioned this somewhere...
Thread can be closed, thanks again to @yoursunny
This is precisely it, The NY location is CC's Buffalo DC which does not have IPv6. I utilize HE's tunnel broker for IPv6 in NY and for whatever reason HE blocks Cloudflare. Most people won't run into this issue but for the people that do, I have this KB article that has a notice.

If anyone has run into this problem, feel free to open a ticket and I would be happy to move you to a different server that has Native IPv6.
Thanks for the tag.
I`m also getting same problem as @xPalis thank to @Cam to inform, i will open the ticket for this.
