    Looks good!

  • Will you support nested kvm?

  • I've been waiting for another 4GB KVM deal, thanks!

We have a few customers who use their VPS for virtualization.

This is very limited. I think 5 are available at this time.

Anything missing you'd like to see?

  • Any chance you could quote cheap a yearly vps? Looking for something $10 a year or below if possible.

Send me a PM with resource requirements and we should be able to work something out!

  • Thanks, I will send you one soon.

  • How fast is the upstream (on LET-NOV-4096MB-100GB-2000GB, specifically)? Up to 100Mb depending on node load? Any minimum guarantee?

  • The upstream is shared by others on your node. There is no min. guarantee.

  • The cpu, disk i/o, and bandwidth availability has been consistently very good on my Montreal MCH KVM's. The nodes are not overloaded, abusers don't stay long, and Phil seems to know how to run good nodes at OVH.
I have been with them about 5 months and have vps'es on different nodes in Montreal.

  • what plan i can get for $12 a year

Yes and will always be, it's OVH.. You think that's a requirement I impose on you? LOL

I still do not understand how typing two commands on terminal is so difficult for some.

    route add GATEWAY dev eth0

    route add default gw GATEWAY

    Done.

  • @MCHPhil said:
    Done.

I didn't think you imposed it.

Also, those are commands? The KB said to add those lines to a file!

  • You think there is only one way to skin a cat...

I'm going to give this another shot, and if it doesn't work, I'll send you images of what I did this time.

    No please don't.

I will not refund you or offer ANY support.

This part of my business is going to move to a new brand I'm opening shortly. Aptly named UnmanagedKVM. At these price points ALL I do as a host is make sure the host node is running and non oversold. I have few reviews that point to this fact.

As you have already used your refund option you will not be eligible this second time around.

Nice attitude. Listen, I'm trying to be civil. Last time, I tried both typing in the commands and adding them to the file. The only possible mistake I could have made was that I replaced GATEWAY with the correct gateway IP. To my knowledge, that's what I was supposed to do.

Do you realize you are asking for support for a product that I provide no support for?

I understand this. However, I have to ask for support when I can't get networking to work. Also, why not just make a script to set up routing automatically? Just wget, bash and go.

  • can we get additional ipv6 for free?

If you have to ask for support then this service is not right for you, why can't you understand that :P

Shall I inflate price of VPS to cover the cost of a script to perform SIMPLE, NETWORKING 101 type things for customers that can't seem to google / etc?

Also, how do you wget a script if networking is down?

For the record, I did Google it. However, I understand the fact that this is an unmanaged server and that you cannot provide support for cheap deals like these. I will respect your wishes and stay away unless I am certain that I can get this to work. Also, I'm not an idiot. I'm actually OK with computers and I can usually get things like this running.

  • @ lukasubo, you are not alone.. :D

I've Just press cancellation request button and wait refund as they promised

  • This is working IPv4 config here for Debian:

     auto lo
      iface lo inet loopback

     auto eth0
      iface eth0 inet static
       address [your IP address]
       netmask 255.255.255.255
       dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4

post-up route add [your Gateway IP] dev eth0
post-up route add default gw [your Gateway IP]
post-down route del [your Gateway IP] dev eth0
post-down route del default gw [your Gateway IP]
