The IO speed is brilliant, it comes from the power of the new Samsung PCle 4.0 NVMe SSD. I don't know why, but the LXC has better performance on the 4k IO test. And KVM outperforms LXC on the 1m IO test.

And as for the single-core bench score, 11900K about 50% faster than my Ryzen 3900x, it's awesome.

In case someone doesn't know the difference between KVM and LXC: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/20578039/difference-between-kvm-and-lxc, In my opinion, if your applications need their own Linux kernel, you have to go with KVM.

However, I have a concern about the control panel, it seems I can't reinstall the system by myself, so every time I want a new system, I have to open a ticket.

Anyway, good service from @Shakib and Hostcram, if you want some high-performance VPS, Hostcram is a great option. And if you don't like these offers, I think it's okay to PM him with yours.

noob here about KVM and LXC. Can you name a few popular application/cms/OSS that requires their own kernel?

  • Hi @Shakib

I have shared benchmark results for the VPS in the other thread.

I would like to share my VPS review from CPU intensive tasks (algorithms and data access from database) point of view. Do I put my review in the same thread here, or should I post under a new topic?

    one line summary -
I never had such powerful performance (even with VPS with dedicated vCore).

To qualify for the free month post your detailed review thread with benchmark under "Reviews" category. :)

  • Perfect looking host except the unusually high latency due to upstream routing through voxility.

CloudLinux requires KVM, doesn't work on LXC.
