What's prefer in terms of Reseller Hosting?

Hi,
What's prefer by terms of reseller hosting,
Account with 2cpu/2gb ram per cPanel account (each sub account)
Or
Account with 4cpu/6gb ram (for example) for whole reseller account?

Regards.

  • depends on how resource intensive sites and total number of site you'll be hosting.

Suppose you are hosting woocommerce store, or a big forum, or high-traffic WP sites but the total number of those sites are less, say, 5 or 6, then 4cpu/6gb ram for whole reseller account can be ok. You can adjust the cpu/ram to each sub-account as you needed depending upon traffic fluctuations.

If you are hosting many small, mid-size dynamic sites, woocommerce store with 100 to 200 products, etc or just WP sites with 1000 posts, etc, and the total number of sites are 15, 20, or even 30. Then go with first option like 2cpu/2gb ram per cPanel account.

  • I would go with the first option since that would allow me more leeway for multiple sites.

    First option for sure.

If you're hosting anything that would need up to 4 vCPU/6GB RAM then it should probably be separate of any reseller account.

If you have 2Cpu + 2gb for each 50 users or 4cpu/6gb for 1 Reseller with 50 users with the first case you have move resources available as long the load is shared well...
