Seeking affordable managed VPS

Hi

I am seeking a managed VPS (not expecting anything 'actively' managed for the price, just am wanting something that I suppose qualifies as managed in regards to having it setup initially and for security+monitoring after the fact), a GUI control panel would be nice if it's free...looking for something available in the US, storage and monthly bandwidth aren't as important as being capable of my site remaining reliably accessible during potential short intermittent periods of significant concurrent users actively browsing the site.

I saw a provider here mention that they had something along these lines available for $30/month, I'm not sure how realistic that is but if I could find something close to this I would be very happy...looking to get this and have it setup as soon as I'm able to.

Ir you're looking for something "semi-managed", ie that handles the initial setup and perhaps some additional support we'd be happy to put together a plan for you.
What sort of specs were you after?

NexusBytes is also great, but a little more expensive.

Not for $30. I think the minimum is $45
