Virtualizor :: Is it a Good Product or Nightmare ?

Hello,

Many of you use Virtualizor as VPS Control Panel. I used it back in 2014-15's.

At that time, it was full of bugs & issues. I heard, they have improved a lot now-a-days.

Those who are using it right now, can you share your recent experience/issues/support team response etc. ??

Regards.

There's no much alternatives, so it works I guess.
    okay for small-scale use.

  • It works pretty well for what it costs. We have patched it enough that it has been close to solid for us.

Why not SolusVM can be an alternative ?

Did you face the noVNC issue ? Like sometimes, it doesn't work ?

    It's not horrible.

But really, what alternatives exist that aren't of equal quality for the features you get either as provider or as an end-user customer?

We last year we have successfully migrated from SolusVM as it’s now ancient, museum item and buggy, so to compare both Virtualizor is better than SolusVM, no bugs and plenty alternative functions which are missing in SolusVM.

Nope but it was plenty of such mess in SolusVM

  • Boomer.host Virtualizor is a nightmare.

Found a fix that made it work.

Well on LET you would say "You get what you pay for".
The Documentation is shit, the user experience is shit.

It works yea, but that's it.

    Boomer.host Virtualizor is a nightmare.

That's because it's severely misconfigured as a direct result of his deficit of general knowledge of computers and Linux.

    Error: There was some error.

  • @virtualizor you should get in here and claim how everything is better because you've wasted time making a new interface or something ridiculous.

  • Compare to SolusVM, Virtualizor is much better.
However their WHMCS product interface causes too much loading time.

Its not the WHCMS plugin, its their API, that is so slow and due to that for certain tasks completely unusable.
Plus the error handling sucks too.

Because SolusVM and their child Solus.io both already are dead..
There's no update on Solus.io since months

And SolusVM only releasing security patches

That, and the fact that Virtualizor isn't particularly fast. Or at least on many of the providers I've tried.

Virtualizor is nightmare and webhosting24.com is using virtualizor as their vps control panel, very slow and many issues.

    And better to use SolusVM.

Don’t expect v2 or v3 for next 100 years, the news about v2 was 5 years ago and still nothing as they have changed the way how they want to continue their business so Solus.io way only.

it's a nightmare if you dont know how to use it cough cough @ezeth
And if it's properly configured, hosted on nvme cached etc then it can be amazing (don't know which lowendprovider has this cuz my vps company portfolio is really poor)

Btw with the death of solusxx its just a fight between them and promox mainly. But promox is way more expensive. (if not counting the free version)

We never expect anything from SolusVM neither Solus.io. and Solus.io also looks dead as they stopped releasing any update since March
