I already have a server in SG from GreenCloud.I test both use ping tool. The result shows Hosthatch
have 350ms+ latency but GreenCloud just 170ms approximately. The Gap is soooo clear. You guys need optimize the network.
    PS:I test from CHINA.

@FAT32 how many SG vps's do you have now? :P

Congrats on the launch! Any chance of seeing some large HDD offers in this region?

    Thanked by 1FAT32

Congratulations on the expansion. Bought the 4G plan, paid biennially, ofc!

With greencloud and hosthatch VMs in SGP, I can look at safely cancelling my aging and relatively slow Leaseweb VM now.

    It's available in Singapore.

@hosthatch i have ordered and opened ticket regarding IPv6 address however i got the following reply

Currently, we do not have IPv6 subnet in SG location. We will update you once its available.

while i am always happy to see HH offers but it hurts to know they do not support nested virtualization for 100% dedicated cores. Wished they reconsider and possibly add a one time setup fee? @hosthatch

We're going to reconsider it, but unlikely we can allow it on plans where we have 1 dedicated core with up to 3 burstable cores, for example.

@add_iT said: Why it says $29.00 USD anually @hosthatch

    Sorry, fixed now :)

Hope you reconsider for 2 CPU cores (50% dedicated, burstable up to 200%) as well :D

Please leave 300ms+ ping to .cn - will reduce abuse in long run

I cann't follow your logic. If providers are worried about abuse, they can limit bandwidth and traffic according to individual situation. No need to set high latency for ALL Chinese users(they paid as u paid).By the way,are these abusers all Chinese? No evidence.

If providers do mind Chinese users abusing, they also can set high latency even do not provide service for them.Just label it.Let us konw.

A lot of abuse by non-CN users

Its not working, can you provide test IP?

    lg.sgp.hosthatch.com has address 103.167.150.10

This one isn't working, timed out.

And what is your buisness with so many VM? :)

  • @hosthatch Any plans for internal DirectAdmin licenses? The direct license cost is the only thing preventing me(and probably many) from ordering more locations.

    Nope, just all HH locations.

  • Block China, they create the bulk of the problems. They respond to criticism about this topic with accusations of trying to shame them.

It's actually one of the few stereotypes that are actually true.
