    And it's done!

    Re-used the old lead acid battery box. It used to house 20x 12v batteries in series. Almost a perfect fit for Tesla S/X modules.

    Layered up.

    And the finished product.

    Ideally i wouldn't use cables but fixed / rigid metal 'bus bars'. I mount the BMS and inverter into the case as well but the weight is getting petty hefty as is. The battery bank itself weights over 100KG, with the inverter BMS and other cabling adding almost another 40KG.

    Started the hosting company 20 years ago. Real estate has always been expensive in HK but it wasn't quite as expensive back when this was purchased. Especially for industrial/commercial buildings. Now, a parking space can easily cost US$200K and a small 20sqrm home (yes, apparently such tiny spaces are considered homes) easily goes for >$400K. Crazy market. But such is life.
