Want dedicated server for virtualization

edited November 2013 in Requests

Hello all,

I need a dedicated server for virtualization (OpenVZ VPS).

Requirements:

-Intel Xeon (any series/microarchitecture is ok) or any Intel Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge/Haswell CPU

-At least 8GB DDR3 RAM

-1Gbps shared or dedicated

-/29 IP, with the flexibility to add more at anytime (without justification would be awesome)

-4xHDD or 4xSSD in HW RAID 10 array (I need about 20-50GB usable disk space per every GB of RAM)

-IPv6 optional

-USA or EU DC (I want USA more than EU)

Budget?? I'm not tight in budget, any reasonable offers would be accepted. However, I'm looking for servers under $150 or under $100 per month. I'll sell a 1 GB RAM VPS for about $10, hoping the base cost to be under $5.

Keep in mind that, I'm a newbie in the VPS industry, so any recommendations on the server specs are warmly welcomed.

Thanks,

Andy

I use Quick Packet for my US node and I highly recommend them. Never had any down time since I have been with them and their support is good to always get a response within 10 minutes.

  • @Andy you shoulld get good hardware(atleast any Ivy Bridge with 24 GB DDR3) from a reliable DC if you plan to be sell VPS

If your talking about OVH, then your going to need to show them proof of your Location/ID.
