yeah, damn PayPal, yet we cannot do something about it. Only a few online payment gateways can rival their name/connections yet. I feel like we are being robbed. :-( It is like fuel we can do something when the price goes up. sigh

Yeah. You should blame PayPal for this https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/172495/paypal-increasing-fees-for-online-transactions-from-august-2nd#latest

    Hi,

possible to use another payment method besides stripe?

You can pay with ACH transfer

What is that? can't I make a paypal transfer as a friend? We don't pay taxes.

Machine will be donated to OpenNIC Project (as long as it runs stable).

Looking forward to that. All servers that I used from OpenNIC were quite unstable. I know it is on a best effort as it is run by volunteers, but having both DNS resolvers fail at the same time is no fun.

HUH SHOW ME WHERE CAN I GET THAT PRICE PER YEAR?

Currently at AIO IPv4 IPv6 Thread on LET

Newest offer is from @Zappie which offers a /24 for only 100 USD per MONTH. /24 = 256 IP addresses, which translates to a cost of 4.6 USD per YEAR per IP address. Even if I jump up to a /22 which is 1 K IP addresses then the latest offer is from @georgedatacenter priced at 750 USD per month which equates to 8 USD per year per IP address (shows that the quantity doesn't really lower the price). This pretty much shows that your claim is BS!

Even if you get the price from a few years ago of about 60 USD per /24 it still only equates to 2.8 USD per year per IP address, so still, WHERE IS THE 1 USD PER IP PRICE???

He might've got a direct allocation from ARIN. /24 is roughly $250/yr according to ARIN's fee schedule

I believe he got a direct allocation from ARIN (75% sure because of this) /24 is roughly $250/yr according to ARIN's fee schedule

I'm using my own OpenNIC resolvers since years and so far didn't notice any major issue.
Of course it's recommended to configure at least two servers in case one fails as they aren't anycasted.
