@debaser and @schnafi measured about 400 Mbit/s (download and about 300+ Mbit/s upload) according to my VPN spreadsheet and the posts made in this thread. Performance likely depends on the server and your location/isp.
yeah im not sure, i mainly use mullvad but have windscribe and a few others, they all get 45mbps - standard is 50. But with keepsolid i only get 15-20.
15-20 Mbps is really low. This was a speedtest using Ikev2 on US-Virgina server just now on a 100/100 lineline using Wifi. I'd say these results are pretty decent given that I'm in Spain.
Have you tried uninstalling all other VPNs and VPN adapters, then reinstalling Keepsolid only? Try that as different vpns often conflict with the various adapters. How much speed download/upload do you get normally without vpn?
Vpn Unlimited:

Mullvad:
https://im.ge/i/iBply
Windscribe:
https://im.ge/i/iBv0S
All connected to Sydney, Australia (closest to me)
All on the same 50/20mpbs connection
All on wifi
I have no idea why its so slow
I just did a speedtest (ikev2) for Syndey location (keep in mind I am in Spain):
I would, however, assume that you are also unlucky in terms of location. VPN services often neglect servers in Oceania, so they are not always that performant.
You could try to contact support and see if they can do anything Have you tried setting up ikev2 manually on Windows-integrated vpn? Perhaps that'll help.
how tf you getting faster than me from spain
I am not sure, tbh. This is from my phone. On a (windows) pc there is many things that could cause issues. Lots of troubleshooting possible. Corrupt/overlapping vpn adapters from different providers, 2,4 Ghz Wifi instead of 5Ghz Wifi (I am on 5Ghz wifi), distance to router (my room is next to it), downloads/patches going on in the background on windows, programs intercepting/slowing traffic down..
it is perfectly safe, i only browse LET and religion stuff.
That is probably due to your ISP peering/routing. Mullvad and windscribe may be using servers which has better routing to your location
keepsolid sucks in sydney
Wondering if I should buy this because torrenting or pirating (movies, film, audio) is not prohibited in my country. Finding another use for this VPN .-.
Coupon has expired.
Yeah. Currently you can get it for 24,99$ with DN40 code (still a good price; I bought it in 2016 for 39,99$ and still worth it) . You could also wait for a better promo.
How about VPNSecure.me?
Did not try, but did a bigger research about the other Lifetime vpns on Stacksocial (including vpnsecure) and iirc there was quite some sketchy things about this one (dont remember the details), so I skipped it.
They already offer lifetime VPN subscription for $12 on Stacksocial couple years ago. Still show 631X days remaining
It was not about expiration date. Some other stuff was not so nice about them. Like I said, cant remember. Cheap enough to give it a try, I guess.

Hmn..weird. Contact their support, then.
Do not let this offer go away! Take it!
I think stacksocial block all transaction of non US credit/debit card, same problem like me.
Goto your stacksocial account and fill the Country field. This worked for me.
