What is the difference between dedicated and non-dedicated data transfer?

Non-dedicated = Shared, it's not THAT noticeable, but there is a difference.

xx TB bandwidth cannot be shared, it allocated per customer not shared between customers. Maybe shared within system in a tenant. It not says that the wire/port is shared or not.

xx Mbps bandwidth can be shared or dedicated and reserved for customer or not. It says that wire/port is shared or not.

The tag "dedicated" makes no sense for TB bandwidth.

Maybe "300 TB @ 1 Gbps dedicated" makes more sense.

Would cost you minimum $3000/mo, maybe more, maybe less.

If it is "minimum $3000/mo" then it can't be "maybe less" :joy:

NO. definitely, NO. ePLDT/IPC bandwidth itself will cost at least two times more. and thats on at least annual contract with quite hefty deposit payment. bare in mind that PLDT is the one in charge for connectivity abroad. thus they orchestrate the fee for the rest isps too.
Minimum and the cheapest possible is HE with 3000usd for 1ge but they dont have local direct PH peering and this makes HE unuseful if peering with local ISPs is relevant, but for HE you should be colocated at PLDT Diliman dc.

  • is this a gaming server? most tech dev from ph go for SG/Jap since they are cheaper than ph server and having faster internet connection than PH.

If OneProvider can never come close to your desired portspeed, your expectation might have been too good to be true in the beginning.

With that bandwidth requirement and that location, you shouldn't be on LET. You're looking at $5000+ per month if you want local peering (which I assume is the point).
