Can I add additonal RAM in hetnzer cloud servers later?

rEDrED Member

I am wondering if It's possible to add additional RAM into hetzner cloud server later if I wish to?

I am thinking of getting a 16gb RAM server with them but in time I will be needing to upgrade it to 32 or 64gb, wondering if its possible. Can't see any info on it on their site anywhere.

I asked their chat but no reply and I mailed them too 2 days ago and still no reply yet.

Anyone here answer this please?

Thanks

EDIT: Oh sorry, do you mean the VMs? When I saw “server” I automatically thought of dedicateds.

Well, then you can modify dedicated servers according to the link I posted.

Can you tell from your dashboard the RAM upgrade limit?
I can only see 16gb max hopefully it can scale to 64gb if needed.

You can rescale to any server that is listed here under pricing tab : https://www.hetzner.com/cloud

Thanks although they're very pricey for me.

16gb ram server is like 42euros which more than 2x on non EPYC cloud servers.

Also, I am able to see different pricing on my side for the same link you posted. Weird.

The page seems different, plus I am from outside of EU.

Look all the way up on the page where it says VAT and change it to your region.

sorry to say, but this already seems on a way to go wrong.

@rED man, seriously no offense - but I'd assume you're not new to the market, so why in the world do you need people in the forum talk you through a simple pricing website of a provider?

I totally get that sometimes one oversees a small detail or so, but essential things like different product lines or region/tax? maybe buy some glasses? ;-) ;-) ;-)
