Let me know if you end up finding that somewhere. I'll also take a couple :)

If you can have $40 for 8GB, a quarter of that is $10 for 2GB.
Add $2 for IP costs so it's $12.

Or you can even do shared IP with 20 ports, like many other providers.

    Good stuff.

Let me know if you manage to find that 2 GB for $12 in Sydney though, as I said, I'll be happy to take a couple myself. :)

i believe you know that the pricing given is per year and not per month.... Did you read the sales thread???

as far as i know, this pricing is really good, no complaints at all...

    so that's $35/year for 8gb ram server B)

If someone calls this expensive, then i don't know what to say... :D

  • @hosthatch is it true that there is no purchase of DDOS protection anymore in your Europe locations?

If not, what is your action when a DDOS happens?

  • hosthatchhosthatch Patron Provider, Top Host, Veteran

We're not selling any new DDoS protection for the moment.

Attacked IPs are automatically null routed.

Can't make everyone happy....people were calling us crazy for doing this sort of pricing last Black Friday, especially in Sydney and Hong Kong, and now they're asking for even cheaper. That's life. :)

For what it's worth, https://dnstools.ws/ uses HostHatch in Madrid, so you can do ping/traceroute/mtr from there if you like.

A really good provider. Probably the best price-quality ratio for 1GB for Storage. I have been using it for almost 3 years and have not noticed any problems. The only thing is that the support is a little slow and do not wait for help in installing applications on your's VPS, only support for stable work for VPS and network in general. Last Black Friday was incredible. It is a pity that I was mistaken on BF. I forgot to cancel the service in the summer, but I had money in my account and my VPS was automatically renew. If not for this and I spent a lot more than I expected on BF, especially since there was already one Storage from him, I would have taken 1CPU 6RAM 2TB for $ 80 / 2yr in Sweden on Black Friday. I thought I'd buy it this year at BF, but it looks like it won't happend because of chia. Thank you for your work and good service that just works well.

@hosthatch I have some old deals, 3TB for $84 and 250GB for $15, can I transfer those to people? I probably won't use one or both of them.

  • skorousskorous Member

They've said in the past that transfers might become available again but not for a few months likely.

That's a shame, two good promos will go to waste.

  • Just bit the bullet and got the 16 GB RAM VPS. A very polished console, quick provisioning, amazing performance, what's not to like. I just hope @hosthatch can keep up the same level of service.

  • If no invoice is generated does it mean that the vps is out of stock?

@hosthatch any chance to see something like that in vienna? i need some upgrade over there.. it's getting cozy on my bf promo (in terms of ram ;-))

IIRC Black Friday plans are upgradeable to the next level plan if space on the node is available. I would send in a ticket for this.

@hosthatch hello, '(+ 30 TB for 2 years)', if I ordered one server and paid for 2 years, it means that without cancel service I can always get extral 30TB bandwidth, or I can get a two-years only? Also, to get the extra resources, do I need to open a ticket after finishing the order? Thank you~

You pay for two years in advance and get the additional 30TB.

You cancel early, you forfeit the service for whatever time is remaining of the two years.
