I appreciate your efforts but after the ISO upload was broken and I didn't get an answer for over a month (from December till early January), I gave my rented service to someone else.
Because the price is great for the performance of the server, I want to return once the overall situation regarding support has sustainably improved. I didn't count you out in the long run, just for the moment, hence I follow this thread.

We will bring transfers back in a while. As you said, it is in our long term interest that people use their services and renew them and allowing transfers is a good way of ensuring that.

Nice. Do you happen to know approximately when transfers will be possible again?

NFS and NBD from a storage VPS to an NVMe VPS in the same location performs decently. I'd recommend using a VPN like WireGuard though, given the internal network is shared with other customers.

Top result of "hosthatch review" agrees with you:
    https://hostadvice.com/hosting-company/hosthatch-reviews/

Public reviews are nearly worthless because most of the time the only ones willing to put forth the effort and time are the spiteful, petty people. Especially from cunts that complain they didn't get openvz (the lack of TUN review) on a KVM server.

This shouldn't happen unless we are waiting on something (for example, an upstream who has to make routing changes. Can you please PM me the ticket #, I'll make sure you get an update asap.

I got two storage vps with Hosthatch, got one of those mythical 10TB for $10/m BF deal.

I just hate how the mounting of ISOs work, its so slow to turn on and off the VPS and it doesnt automatically reload when its done doing a command. But over all, performance wise, its been perfect for me. I only need to do that mounting of iso very rarely anyway, so its a neglible issue.

Out of curiosity, is your 10TB in Las Vegas or in Chicago? Do you have a YABS benchmark?

My experience with support has been good for what I consider the important things like hardware/network related issues.
Last week I submitted a non high priority ticket due to high wait state on my 2TB Chicago storage server. They figured out the problem was due to a hard drive in the array going bad, and replaced the drive in under 14 hours, with no data loss.
It is the best storage server I have. (I also have 6 NVMe servers with them.)
Maybe I am happy with them because I don't expect hand holding or ticket for every little thing, but I've used them for years and I have been happy enough to keep buying more.

I give HostHatch a double thumbs up.

  • I noticed that you seem to have some problems with the definition of bw, for example 3TB is bigger than 3072GB, why is that?
