Is advertising a free hoster allowed?

Hello,

We are a new free web hosting provider, I'm not gonna go into any details. The question is, is advertising a free web hosting project allowed here?
If yes, what is needed for that to happen?

Kind regards.

It would be best to ask at the LET help desk first.

In general, though, people (rightly) look with suspicion at anyone who signs up here and immediately offers free hosting.

    Congrats on your first post.

Yes, it is allowed if it's completely free. I have advertised my https://hostwp.net until paid plan was introduced.

I have been advertising the free 1-hour instances at yoursunny summer host and I haven't received any warning.
If others copy-paste my paid plans here, it's not my fault.

You should make that come to life. Just expose a fake SSH server that allows the user to run a few predefined commands, similar to http://uni.xkcd.com/

I have a real SSH server.
It listens on IPv6, and offers tunneled access to IPv9 servers.
    There's even YABS pre-installed.

@yoursunny You should make it available over IPv4 as well, I had to use a host with IPv6 access to get to it and there are ISPs and VPNs that still make use of IPv4.

You could also do with a bit more humour in your SSH server.
