Oplink.net AMD VPS Plans $6.95/mo

Our network is located in a secure private suite inside the Houston Level3 "Premier Datacenter." This datacenter is the main routing point serving the Houston Metropolitan area.

Speedtest & Test IP

We own and managing all our equipment. Many providers resell lower tier bandwidth, not us. All Oplink.net Servers come with 1 Gbps Unmetered Traffic.

View Unmetered Bandwidth Policy

In May 2020, we deployed Coreo's Smartwall DDos real-time mitigation at the edge of our network directly in front of our 100 Gbps Uplink. Every server we host includes no cost 100 Gb DDoS protection! Most other providers use 10Gbps filters, tunnels, or VPS cloud filtering. Our DDos Protection is directly in our DC. This provides lowest latency and fastest initiated DDoS protection.

But VPC is internal only and personally I wouldn't use it IPv6 here as IPv4 just works, and I won't have that many servers to get out IPv4 addresses... :#

    At least two problems:

    • You can't see the source IPv6 address of incoming connections.
    • You can't make outbound connections to IPv6 destinations.

I feel nostalgic for those old style websites :) where buttons are not defined by 10 classes of CSS3 with 1MB Javascript on top. Oplink, kudos for you!

We are still testing it. SolusIO needs to add some more functions to add/remove ipv6 vs just handing out ipv6 to everyone. Most people dont care about ipv6 unless your doing shady crap. J/K haha

    o_0

Every site/service I'm running talks native v6. Reason I asked is because stuff like my backup server is v6-only at this point.
