  • Consider offering the product at $3.14?

  • My random suggestion would be to give a coupon to allow the 'Small External (USB Only)' addon to be only $3.14 per month (instead of $3.50) for 24 hours, just to go along with the Pi theme of the day.

    my 2 cents.

    Cheers!

  • Any chances of the 4GB/256GB restocking? Seems like the sweet spot between the smallest and largest package.

If nobody gets them in the next 2 hours then I will make a special.

Eventually. I am working on a new chassis so I can fit more in a rack space.

IPv4 isn't that much and not everybody has IPv6 access to their homes.

Cheapest dedi ever, but it's the crummy ARMv6.

I once spent a week compiling OpenCV 3 package for the Pi Zero.

Just had one come available. You will need to wait roughly 24hrs for me to activate it. But order it now if you want it.

Please remember folks the pi zero is wireless and will add some latency

Does Pi Zero have a console?

Provider needs to make a control panel for true console access and automated reinstalls.

Connect the serial port to and the power button line to a terminal server.
User can access them via the control panel.

For Pi 3 and later, get rid of the crummy SD cards, and use network boot from a block storage.
User can dd any .img.xz into a volume and boot from there.
User can purchase multiple block storage volumes.
User can mount non-boot volumes via iSCSI, for advanced image editing.

For Pi Zero, connect the SD card lines to an SD card emulator backed by a block storage volume.
You can make one of those with an ESP32 or other microcontroller that has both Ethernet and SD card lines.
When the Pi Zero is powered off, user can change the attached block storage volume, just like the Pi 3 use case.

Now it's premium Raspberry Pi hosting.

I believe this is already in the works although with no ETA.

This looks like a nice weekend project. I wrote some RTOS code for the ESP8266 a while back when it was flying off the shelves as the hottest IoT jig and had an okay time, I also have an idling ESP32-WROOM lying on my desk.

Effort-wise seems not too bad considering the amount of effort Espressif pours into their SDKs, took a quick look at the current SDK documentation and they seem to provide an SD/SDIO implementation, no more SPI fuckery!

    Sounds like an awesome idea.
If you want to help us out on doing exactly this then shoot us an email/ticket and we can discuss farther.

Also just had another PiZero open back up for anyone that wants it. And I had goofed and left open the promotion. My loss your gain. Better hurry up and get it!!!!
