Exporting DirectAdmin-users to other Control Panels

Hi!
What’s the existing ways of exporting users from DA to other control panels (other than cPanel)? Or; if it’s possible to make exports/imports in any other way I would also be interested in knowing about that. (Like transfer of UNIX-users between servers?)
Another question while I am at it:
Where would I start investigating if I want to learn more about setting up my own Web Hosting on a VPS? I have about 10 clients at the moment which means I won’t invest in a lot of licenses, but rather go with as cheap solutions as possible (open source and such).
Thank you!

Just to make sure you know, but my man @Francisco offers free DA licenses on their vps line. Or at least that is what I remember
Thanks for the reminder.
Yo can go with @seriesn
We do! As well as free Softaculous and Blesta if those are of interest.

Any openings in Luxembourg coming up?
Stock reloads tomorrow evening to go with the Sunday cancellation run.
Earlier this morning I cried, cried some more, paid the bill to customs, cried once more, and am now prepping the rack layout documents for the DC.
We expect our large deployment of slices & slabs to go live mid week or so.

Did they go hard on you?
@seriesn I am curious about your service. Can you tell me something about the managed VPS?
Thanks for the kind mention fam
Totally: https://my.nexusbytes.com/knowledgebase/62/DA-Management-Coverage.html
Don’t cry while loading up the server. That’s a sure fire way to get liquid damage
If I remember correctly, Virtualmin is able to restore from a DA backup.
For anything else you could just tar up the files, rsync and untar. Then copy the databases. For mail, there's imapsync.
Wow, interesting. > @definitelyliam said:
Wow, interesting if Virtualmin can. I read this about cPanel: https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/id,virtualmin_for_cpanel_users
According to https://www.virtualmin.com/comment/738386#comment-738386 it was added for both Virtualmin GPL and Virtualmin Pro. I also distinctly remember having that option back when I had a Virtualmin server.
Then again, things might've changed since the last time so I don't know for sure, but they probably do have an importer.

Yes, import of DirectAdmin is stated, I can see.
