VServer for Proxmox Backup Server
Hello,
Im currently looking for a VServer to host a Proxmox Backup Server instance.
KVM Virtualization
3 CPU
4 GB RAM ECC (3GB should also work)
600-700 GB Storage (SSD preferred, or just something with good I/O)
1 IPv4
1 IPv6
1 Gbps Port
3 TB Bandwith (most of it inbound)
Needs to be able to boot an ISO
Location: Europe, when possible, Germany.
Budget: 7€/Month, or 35€/6 Months.
Comments
https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/installation.html#install-proxmox-backup-server-on-debian - if you can't boot an ISO you could potentially start with debian and convert it.
Edit: Tried it, worked other than for some reason networking config was no longer being read from the cloud-init generated files, had to go in on the console and edit /etc/network/interfaces
I dont think you posted the right topic ya
Yes I did, the op said they needed to boot an ISO to install PBS, since you can convert a debian installation that may remove that requirement and give the op some more options.
One cloud storage VM is close to
https://oneprovider.com/onecloud/pricing#storage
no IP6 and for 1 Gbps port got to get a bit bigger one
You need to install debian 10 and then over install PBS (Works i tested it) and have a pbs instance to test
