Deadpool incoming.
New locations?
New ryzen series maybe
They bought out Hetzner
New locations. They've been teasing Asian locations for some time now.
Ryzen CPUs for VMs would be perfect but not expecting that for sure. So prolly new locations, they've been expanding lately.
I am positive that the announcement will at least include support for additional currencies including USD. Hopefully they have some other announcements as well, but it will be nice to be billed in my local currency at least.
They definitely should rework their control panel
I don't think anything is wrong with their control panel. I find it very easy to use.
Price increase
They had a live stream the other day. They are working on making a new control panel but it won't be ready until the end of this year/early next year.
An announcement for an announcement.
A new cp would definitely make things look a bit more fresh
Information on the closure of the company
Intel, YES!
New Control Panel .... I am guessing and hoping!!
Support for USD
Introduction of refunds?
This is actually the reason I took so long to try them. Their service is great, but the lack of refunds plus a setup fee on all services scares off customers for sure.
New location.
harder limits for server resources on customer VPS as lately they had downtime on their control panel node, so the incident never happens again as your VM will be suspended before their control panel goes down!
They will accept DOGE...
Contabo is expanding to Singapore!
Yeah right, I/we wish
They are though, they already announced this.
That would be scary..
They announced that they'll accept USD from now on.
However, there will be a fee of €25 for existing customers to change to USD.

Totally worth the big announcement.. Even if I paid with Yuan, it wouldn't matter dogshit on the price.
That's it? I've paid providers in USD for years already while being on an EUR account. The exchange rate is minimal so who cares exactly?
why this is a big announcement, Do you pay more using EURO versus USD or vice versa?
How come 6.99 usd being charged on VPS S SSD when it costs only 4.99 in euro?
Btw, it’s nice to see contabo offer “No Location Fee on VPS , VDS and Dedicated Servers in the US until April 1.”
