NVme cache disk with Dell R620

alexgoldalexgold Member, Host Rep

I have a Dell R620 server, to improve the I/O performance (and latency) of my SAS 15K disks I want to connect an NVme disk with a pcie3 adapter and then use it as a cache disk.

How can I do that? because as I know, the raid controller can't recognize disk through pcie3.

OS: Centos 7.7

    Lvmcache/dm-cache, bcache, etc?

Remember you'll want to either run in writethrough, or RAID1 your nvme.
