Reliable low end VPS provider in South America (Chile, Argentina, Brasil, Uruguay)
I live in Chile and I would like to try having a small VPS for a reasonable price. It's well known that most good VPS companies are either in the US/Can or in Europe but for issues of latency and other stuff I'd like my server to be as close as possible. I've seen a few providers here but I've also seen complaints (i.e. Haulmer/OpenCloud). Also other small providers are business focused so apparently low profile VPS servers are very overpriced here which leaves people who want a cheap solution for a small business or hobbyist/non-profits out of the game.

Hey

It really depends on what you want to do with the VPS. Latency does not matter much if you just use it to host your blog or website.

I checked their website but their bandwidth and SSD size is so tiny and barely increases stepping up in prices.
Dónde están los servidores de zgh o habrá un servidor al que hacerle ping?
I always wanted to try it but I didn't know it was already available. Thanks.
@ffuentes hola tengo recursos para ofrecerte un VPS, si gustas nos comunicamos de manera interna.

Just saying I tried to do a Colocation setup in Mexico.
Bandwidth is 50$USD per Mbps.
IP's are 5$ per month.
And that's the cheapest I could find contacting all DC's.

Mexico is "a bit" far away
I did search recently as well, everything was much over the $5 per month budget I wanted to set up a personal cluster. I'm subscribing in here in case there's a miracle.
