Since our founding in 2014, we happily served thousand of clients from all over the world and we continually searched for new ways to deliver on our mission: High Quality at Fair Prices. We are now very proud that we discovered and adjusted the right combination of qualitative and affordable web hosting solutions.

We built our team around colleagues with valuable experience in web hosting, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and customer support. Our management has over 15 years of executive experience in Romanian's top telecom companies.

We have a new website and a new cloud platform. Top features for our new Cloud infrastructure includes:

  1. Raid protected SSD storage( & clustered filesystem)
  2. Fast Network - Each node is connected to multiple 10Gb networks
  3. Internal IPs - your VPS can now "talk" with another VPS or virtual machine from the same datacenter through a private network.
  4. SSH Keys - are installed with just a few clicks from our cloud panel.
  5. Instant Activation - Your virtual server will be automatically provisioned after payment.
  6. Custom ISO - you can upload your own iso and install OS via VNC on cloud virtual machines and dedicated instances.

You can manage, get multiple IP addresses, or upgrade your server directly from the client area. We have also a cloud panel to: Reinstall OS, Stop/Start VPS, change the configuration, or set up rDNS.

The payment methods are PayPal, online Credit Card, Skrill, Bitcoin & Altcoins Bank Wire Transfer, AliPay, etc.

"Oh a new server I can buy using Bitc- and their payment processor is Bitpay which now asks for ID verification..." (the "payments above 3000 USD requires verification" is not true anymore, they now ask even less than that!)

Please change cryptocurrency processor other than Bitpay :(

On the pages for ordering, it says "20GB", for example (but not only in Bucharest):

    https://www.virtono.com/cart.php?a=confproduct&i=9

Similarly, on the pages for ordering CLOUD VPS M, it says "40GB" (and not "50GB"), for example (but not only in Frankfurt):

I know, it looks quite poor and with a "stone age" processor, but it actually feels quite OK, compared to other lowest end (about 1€/mo) VPSs I tested. My (quite experienced) friend confirms that he really likes the little thingy (as he calls it) which he uses as a auth. name server. To quote him "The disk is almost shamefully poor but otherwise the little thingy performs actually quite well and connectivity is surprisingly good".

Warning: This (tested) VPS has been purchased a few years ago and might have older (and presumably slower) hardware than Virtono's current offers.

If @virtono provides me with a current Cloud XS box for 2 or 3 days I'll gladly do a benchmark and small review.

We are in the process of adding Coingate, a cryptocurrency payment processor from the EU, that doesn't ask the verification.

Indeed, if you buy now (except on UK), you get a VPS on nodes with newer and a lot better hardware.
