Suggestion for virtualization ( single vps )
Hello,
I wish to run a single KVM VPS over my dedicated server.
What are the possible options ( apart from proxmox ) ?
Please suggest.
Hosts I Recommend >> [ XiNiX | CloudCone | HostUs | BuyVM | Backovia ( 25 TB VPS ) ] [ Blesta @ $174 ]

I’m assuming you mean you want a control panel right? If so Virtualizor is probably the cheapest option out there for a single server and VM.

Yeah i’d go Virtualizor, Solus.io is much more expensive, solusvm is no longer updated other than for security and quite frankly as the days go by we get nearer and nearer to the inevitable announcement that solusvm is being discontinued and everyone is to be forced to solus.io... that’ll be a very interesting day indeed.

Could use Cockpit as well. https://cockpit-project.org/
or ESXI? https://www.vmware.com/go/get-free-esxi

I hate the crummy Virtualizor:
SolusIO is not ready for production. I found 6+ bugs in a few hours of an invited SolusIO trial:
Someone needs to start a Change.org petition to keep Solus VM - the clean and easy to use control panel (except that Virmach hides the username which hinders usability).

SolusIO was released long before being ready I agree; but this also realistically backs the reality that they want to get SolusIO out there and replace SolusVM asap, it's going to happen and it's going to be one hell of a shit show for a load of providers, a great portion of which are from round these parts.

Plesk is behind SolusIO, so it worth waiting until we see a complete platform.
I’d vouch for ESXi. If you want to have something near native, great 3D acceleration and other goodies, this is an absolute recommandation. I use it for years for private use. Much better than Proxmox.
