Looking for a VPS in Europe.

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a VPS in Europe to replace my VPS which has a lot of configuration problems, and despite my tickets nothing changes.

Which is a pity, because the VPS is fast, but as the server is badly programmed, I can't do anything.

I pay 3€ per month, and I have the following configuration:

  • 3 GB RAM
  • 200 GB HDD
  • 1 TB Traffic
  • 2 Cores
  • 1 IPv4 included
  • 1 IPv6 included

Who do you advise me?

Don't bother to suggest https://www.hostsolutions.ro/, I have VPS at home, but I'm looking for another host to have a backup VPS.

Thanks for your help.

You can try SpectraIP. They have cheap plans with good performance. I have heard that support is not that good but I don't think giving such good support is possible at this price. But I think they may suit your needs. @spectraip
You can also Try BuyVM. They have servers in Luxembourg which is located in Europe @Francisco

I've purchased dedicated servers here before, but somehow I got a KVM vps with mentioned hardware, and I don't know if I misunderstood the merchant's definition of a dedicated server. This was early last year.

Are you using a VPN network that everyone uses? Or a common proxy? I have no problem connecting to the site.

I think you just did a little test. Yes, they are solid with the L7. :) (They don't use Cloudflare, they're developing their own Layer 7 protection. They're talented.)

Funny that you are new here mentioning you are a customer with beyond perfect satisfaction and recommending it to anyone who needs it when the fact is that the provider is barely a year old.. based on domain registration at least.. no company details what so ever on the website and on top of that, a nulled WHMCS.

Sounds damn right like a shill from this side of the world.

My dear, I also gave advice. If you don't like it, you don't order it. The year is 2021, so. I could not put a gun to anyone's head. I have been using 'VDS-2' for 4 months. Also I don't care WHMCS is nulled or not, go report it or send mail to go guys company. I take care of my own satisfied service. lol So should I talk a lie? I have been pleased and suggested for 4 months. Is it forbidden?

So you decided to travel back in time to recommend some unknown shady host just because you alone have been satisfied for 4 months?

Are you a lawyer or are you drunk, my beautiful brother? Do I have to ask you what I can and cannot recommend to whom? What a jobless guy you are. This is a platform where everyone can freely express their opinions.

Friends, please don't fight over this, I think anyone can recommend a product they like, even if it may not be licensed. Recommendation and purchase itself belong to two people and two things, there is no need to argue.
But it's true that I won't consider buying it in the near future, because it's such a short time from its creation to now and almost nothing can prove their products. On the other way, when I can somehow confirm that it is reliable, I will order it immediately.

you should reinstall the OS and program the way you like! or hire the admin. Don't blame the hosting or look for new one if like the performance

Thank you. I was a 100up hosting OVH game customer, getting ddos attack and needed somewhere. I was not the first to trust it like you, I just opened a Ticket and asked for a 24-hour Test, they gave it. I have been using it for 4 months. It's that simple. I did not understand why the friend was attacked because I gave advice. As L3/L4, I haven't seen any better. My current IP address: 80.93.220.67:7777 (you can traceroute and 7777 my UDP SA:MP port) I am hosting my GTA San Andreas MultiPlayer game server with them. Those who disconnected the game server while on OVH Game, cannot even touch it for 4 months. Really good at low price, high hardware performance and DDoS protection, at least I am satisfied. I think you can request a 24-hour Test, as I did 4 months ago.

(I also have one more SA: MP server with them: 37.122.140.8:7777 and a CS 1.6 Game Server: 217.195.195.7)

  • just get a solid vps from a solid company, like:

contabo.de - extreme reliable, fast, great support
http://waveride.at - a bit old school and only openvz, but cheap and solid from Edis.at

or look sometimes on https://oneprovider.com/dedicated-servers/paris-france and amsterdam for small dedicated with Atom C2350, 4 GB, 1TB hdd or 128gb ssd for 6€

otherwise, you get what you pay for

on top of that the quite interesting ddos tech host is a one men show (which is basically not bad at all) but seems as just using his private address in Germany for doing business, which is also fine, if it would not be a ddos specialized host.

at least he owns a IP4 range since october 2020:
    https://myip.ms/info/whois/80.93.220.76/s

    owner entry:
    https://apps.db.ripe.net/db-web-ui/query?bflag=true&dflag=false&rflag=true&searchtext=ORG-DH80-RIPE&source=RIPE

    abuse is maintained by OVH
    https://apps.db.ripe.net/db-web-ui/lookup?source=ripe&key=ACRO31899-RIPE&type=role

and network seems to come from FIBERSUNUCU

    https://apps.db.ripe.net/db-web-ui/query?bflag=true&dflag=false&rflag=true&searchtext=MNT-FIBERSUNUCU&source=RIPE

it feels all a bit strange and odd to me
