    Code: 12-20-2020

    It's 41.67% Recurring Discount on

SKVM-4G monthly payment ONLY. It's much cheaper if you choose annually payment without this coupon.

    Thanked by 2RecD MaxKVM
  • $7 after coupon. The package SKVM-4G-4CPU is still better with two more CPU :). Useless coupon. Hope will got PKVM with good discount on Christmas day

I tried the code EDU50 but seem it does not work. I opened an account with my .edu email and choose the regular package at here https://manage.maxkvm.com/store/maxkvm-cloud-global

Does the coupon EDU50 work with package SKVM-4G-4CPU ?

No sir, the SKVM-2G-2CPU and SKVM-4G-4CPU are already heavily discounted.

  • @MaxKVM do you have any estimated time for Singapore to be restocked?

Not really, but you've been patient and we can set you up on one of the machines in SG if you are ready to order. Just send a PM or open a ticket. B)

Was having the same issue yesterday - their website was down for about an hour. Could not ping it from my location, but worked from another location.

Website issues should be fixed. Please report any bugs you see and you we'll PM a custom promo code.

(*No guarantee that the promo code won't increase the price in cart.)

@MaxKVM said: Singapore is out of stock until we can free up some space or get new machines over there - whichever comes first. It will definitely be available for NYE (and maybe Christmas Day), though. :)

Mjj refers to people who have not bought special price or super value configuration. This is very common in a Chinese host forum. M means "Mai" or "Mei" in Chinese. JJ refers to VPS. Because VPS are virtualized by dedicated servers, just like hens lay eggs, VPS are called chickens. In order to be more interesting, they use "Ji" Mjj for short. Another view is related to the founder of his webmaster. There is no definite definition at present

Since my English is not very good, the above comments are from Google Translate

Mai (Buy/Buyer) Ji (chicken/cock, pronounce like VPS) Ji

  • @MaxKVM said: Post a link here and let the community decide.

Well, it's not a good idea to post the link.

So do you allow TOR service (non-exit node) or not?

Post the link to the hidden service and lets see if we should allow it. :)

  • @MaxKVM , no more sg location?

Thanks for the explanation. Ironically, Cantonese is my mother-tongue (which is totally different from spoken Mandarin - but both share some similarities in written form) but I have no idea what MJJ was until now.

Well... JJ means another thing in Cantonese... I will see myself out.

So the website is running very nicely on ~8 geographically distanced VMs for minimal latency with GeoDNS. Unfortunately the PowerDNS cluster with MySQL+GeoIP backends was not cutting it with 500+ms response times in some test areas with a handful of SERVFAILs (not sure if it's the physical distance to NS or the LUA record taking too much time) which ruins the <100ms global response time target.

Which DNS provider with Anycast with GeoIP/DNS is inexpensive and recommended? We can also migrate PowerDNS to an Anycast service.

(This is all completely unnecessary since Cloudflare is the simple solution with Geo{DNS+Proxy} but we are decentralizing the internet.)

Rage4 is probably your best bet. 20 eur per month for an average response of sub-25ms.

Any chance Prometeus is still offering Rage4 for free with service? :p
