We're working on replenishing stock :)

The good news is that San Jose will be back in stock either today or tomorrow. And we'll continue to replenish locations, we sold out in a few locations during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday event.

@dustinc Is VM-x/AMD-V really enabled on AMS? Wanted to confirm.

Someone on the other thread posted a bench which says it's enabled but I think you mentioned that it's not. Even my AMS VPS also has it disabled. Out of my two boxes in AMS one has it enabled and the other has it disabled.

How about IPv6 in AMS? And what about any local connectivity? Anything on the roadmap?

I only see Telia/Cogent for 23.94.101.0/24 - no AMSIX, NLIX, SPEED-IX or alike :(. Really disappointing network for what could have been a great offer!

Hi @rattlecattle I'll need to dive deeper into it - but it does seem like it varies depending on the type of benchmark the end-user is running — we've had dozens, probably hundreds of users share benchmarks in our Black Friday sales thread, and not all of them were the same benchmark tool/script. While we don't support nested virtualization (running a VPS within a VPS), we do provide host-passthrough with all of our KVM VPS services. That way, the underlying CPU model and architecture your VPS lives on is fully transparent and known to the end-user.

How about IPv6 in AMS? And what about any local connectivity? Anything on the roadmap?

I only see Telia/Cogent for 23.94.101.0/24 - no AMSIX, NLIX, SPEED-IX or alike :(. Really disappointing network for what could have been a great offer!

Hello - native IPv6 is not an option at this time. For those interested, an alternative could be using tunnelbroker.net for tunneled IPv6. This is free.

As for network; this is always possible. We too have interests - so hopefully this can become real for all of us B)

I opened a medium ticket and it took a few hours.. Still more than acceptable.
Having some issues with the vps itself though.. :|

  • In the end it's always a question of time & workload so yeah... I'm still very happy, considering the prices for the boxes. Hope they will be able to solve the issues! Runs fine for me @daffy .

Like I said, more than acceptable, considering it was the middle of the night in the US.

It runs fine, but I wonder if there are some template issues or whatever on Debian because I'm having some problems I don't have on any other provider. Will check more tomorrow.
