iPage - nice dirty catch
So in 2016 I did do the 3-year Black Friday hasting with iPage for that working, but very slow hosting. Because of speed I didn't really used it much.
Then in mid 2019 I cancelled the service and whiped the storage to leave a blank webspace.
The credit I used then was sort of the way out then and rarely used, so (stupid me) I seldom check charges. They did bill me in January 2020 for a whoppy $394.20 for something unknown. Now it's of course too late for a chargeback.
An expensive reminder to cancel my credit card ASAP.

EIG thanks to you
Thank you for your warm, comforting words.
Recurring charges can still be processed on credit cards if they were created before the card closure.
Maybe a prepaid, non-reloadable card?
