    I opened a ticket to active AES-NI

Anyway, what can provider do to make things better?

At home, in proxmox, configuring processor as "host" instead of "KVM" and disable "use tablet for pointer" (which was enabled by default) has changed everything.

    Thanks @cociu !

CPU Performance should much better if the host node configured properly

    I opened a ticket to active AES-NI

Anyway, what can provider do to make things better?

At home, in proxmox, configuring processor as "host" instead of "KVM" and disable "use tablet for pointer" (which was enabled by default) has changed everything.

Have you tried for hundreds VMs?

    :D no! I'm just a small end-user
I just asked a question and have no answer.

  • Okay, AES-NI enabled will not increase your GB score, but it will help you on daily usage, like OpenVPN..

we can provide you one to see what tunning you propose , no joke , pm in 2 weeks if you are able to do this.

Try this to set CPU as host-passthrough mode or a similar model which the host node has

    Hey @cociu,
I wonder this server have different spec to upgraded kvm from openvz? I know it doesn't make sense to get same, but what I got after upgrade with 4 core, has worse performance in compare to single core yabs in above posts.
Edited: fix the problem with yabs:

Try install fio and iperf3 by yourself before running yabs
    apt install fio iperf3 -y
