Hm.. Will there be any changes in the future. I've got one of the special kvm storage plans and well. It's very cheap but it's also very slow... Always thought 4 cores and 4gb ram. This will work out but these are the benchmarks... Also network speed is very slow...
Is this because there have to be some changes or is it always that slow?

Can you go into your control panel at hostsolutions.ro and Stop and then Start your server again? I had the same "KVM Processor" but I believe the VMs have been reconfigured and once you restart it from the control panel it's going to show the real CPU and also AES-NI is enabled, at least that's what happened in my case. It did improve the speed by a noticeable margin, at least for the simple things that i do with a storage server.

  • Shoudln't turn it off and on again be part of most troubleshooting?

Did that and yes: Now the right CPU is there but still can't be right, when my other storage server with just one core of the same cpu got more than 100% more points in benchmarks? Even in multicore with one core...?!!? To be honest 4 cores are useless when they got the power of a half core?!
Everything is so slow that it looks like I bought something different than I got..

@cociu Will there be any changes in performance?

These are the "new" benchmark results:

yes, looks like that all my 3 VPS are on the same node.

@cociu any chance that can migrate my VPS to other nodes? I mean at the latest not 3 of them on the same node. If possible. Thanks,

i dont know if is in in the same node (we have upgrade 3 nodes in the same time) but any way , glad to resolve it if you open a tiket next week and we will migrate between different nodes. (also i will talk with our programator to add the node name in the client area so in this case you can see in wich node you are) .

You can check the node in the url when you use vnc from panel

My Bucharest VPS can't connect to Vienna VPS,

Could you check again now? I got a response from M247 that they've resolved a routing issue and for me it looks good now.

  • @cociu Sorry, don't mean to side track the conversation. I see you guys are busy with an upgrade. Though, I lost access to my vps and logged a ticket for it (#401702) about 20 days ago and haven't heard anything.

Could you assist with having it looked at? Thank you.

  • My issue was addressed and I'm back in, thank you!

  • The worst host. Ever.

I ordered this VPS on the 29th November. Took really long to deliver it, (I think over 30 days because I checked in January and I still hadn't gotten it yet). I replied on this thread but no one responded to me here as well. I never received an email regarding delivery and I eventually forgot about it. Checked a month ago and it said service was suspended. (never received any emails again, the only email I have from them is the invoice) Opened a ticket with high priority to reactivate the service over 3 weeks ago and it still has not been answered yet.

Steer clear of this one guys. I've partaken in 3 BF sales so far and this is hands down the worst purchase made.

That's long wait, are you sure if you have used correct email address and if you still have login details to hostsolution then you will have paid invoice and details which you can use to recreate ticket and ask about status.

For now hostsolution has blown some hard drive and it's under fixation, may take longer time but only thing we can do is wait, you can check this thread for all discussion https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/171566/cociu-hostsolutions-ro-netsilvania-bankruptcy-dead-pool#latest

I have the right address. I got an email when I paid the invoice and also when I created the ticket last month. I am able to login to the user dashboard where I see my inactive service and also to the support page where I see my unanswered ticket.

edit: forgot to quote you @Merlincool

Not replying for months is been known old issue. There is no surprise. You will have to stick for a while as there is some major repair / reconstruction ongoing for lost storage servers.
