I keep getting 15.55 CAD for Single Day 11 Storage offer. Thought going to checkout would change it but it didn't. Sold out at 11.11?

Mostly you are in Canada , we do auto currency change to Canadian orders
but you still can pay change your currency from left
search on the checkout page for
    Choose Currency

Damnit, didn't see this. I think I would have saved on the conversion since that worked out to something like $51.68 USD instead of $48USD for me (overall, a difference just under $5 CAD. Edit: It's less than $5, cashback is different for CAD vs USD on this card. I can chill out). Well, next time. Unless you make a profit on the currency conversion, I wouldn't recommend defaulting that option for Canadians so they can just take one conversion at the best rate their credit card gives them.

  • Thanks for your offer.

My first reaction reading the post and looking at the BM numbers! Over at LES, Mason posted the number of YABS being run over the past 3 or 4 days. Interesting data point to correlate the second part (benchmarking)

People only bench the network in the old days. Some how they start bench the 4k read write and CPU recently...

  • @elliotc said: Some how they start bench the 4k read write and CPU recently...

I mean, if you look at the IO numbers for 4k it's definitely not that low. clearly bandwidth is what's limiting here right now. I'd guess this could also be initial installations and whatnot... apt upgrade didn't feel slow anyway.

and good ol' dd shows numbers between 100 and 200 MB/s ... I am happy with it either way, as it's going to be backup storage for me, so I don't need nor expect nvme speeds or the likes.

  • Any plans for these to be restocked?
