    Hello @hide1hide and @guerrilla
if you select a 12-month commitment, you will have 15% off each month for 12 months
if you select a 24-month commitment, you will have 20% off each month for 24 months

Post this period you may choose to go monthly without contract (no discount), or re-commit for another year (there will be a standard 8% discount applied). or recommit for 2 years and there will be a standard 12% discount applied.
    hope this helps

  • I've been using Rise -1 server service for almost 2 years now for $ 59.99. Does OVH offer promotions for old customers?

  • Any storage VPS offer? for 12/24 months? I was looking for such deal specifically. 100-200GB storage.

Hello @JasonM , you can add more storage on all our VPS, up to 500GB
The external additional disks for our VPS solutions are highly resilient, since the data is replicated three times within our infrastructures. This disks can be enabled on demand, and you can scale them up. This way, your data is always protected in the event of any service interruptions.

    more info here: https://www.ovhcloud.com/asia/vps/options/#external-storage-space

Hello @trongtri, if you are paying month by month without a contract and you are ready to commit for a longer period I suggest you to contact our sales team or send me a PM with your details.
Alternatively you can purchase a server on offer and stop the older one. Thanks

A bit confusing US GAM-1 7700K is listed as 250Mbps capped bandwidth while rise one is 7700K at 500Mbps. Why is US GAM-1 7700K so low at 250Mbps?

OVHcloud US is a separated brand, even some offers are close, offers/products can't be compared

  • Dedicated Server rules

    Offer thread rules apply.
Only post offers that are under $84/month recurring.
    Only monthly offers allowed.
    No setup fees.

I believe the last offer thread got deleted because it breaks the rules.

Perhaps move this to the Black Friday Section where no rules apply ?

I just ordered the RISE-LE-2 and it cames with very used ssd drives, one with 1.37 Petabyte of data read! Is that normal? I'm planing to use this server for a long time so it's kind of scary to use these drives even in softraid and the TBW is still fine.

    Model Number: INTEL SSDPE2MX450G7

Hopefully, the winter sale will be more attractive for the VPS plans with yearly commitment.

No need to worry, reading the SSD wears it out nowhere nearly as much as writing, and the data written metric is fine.

    Hello @yokowasis ,
All servers listed in my post are below 84 USD even post the black friday offer.
all offers advertised are paid monthly.
setup fee (if any) are waived if you commit for a minimum of 12 months.
I have not seen any rule related to commitment, if there is any, I will change my post accordingly as I aim to abide by the rules.

    As far the rules concern,

You are not allowed to post Yearly commitment on Dedicated Server.

For dedicated, you are only allowed to post monthly offer WITHOUT setup fee. No commitment needed.

Unless I miss something, I don't see any Monthly Offer for dedicated server. Perhaps they are available on your site, but as far as LET concerned, it doesn't exists.

    Hello @trongtri ,
In 2 years time (and unless the original price of the server changes):

    • you could go back to a month to month (no commitment) and pay the full price of US$ 62.99 ex. GST/month
    • recommit for 1 year and pay US$ 59.64 ex. GST/month (~5%)
    • recommit for 2 years and pay US$ 56.50 ex. GST/month (~10%)
  • Hello.
How much is bandwidth overage charge in SG?

  • They throttle to 10 mbps afaik - that's what they told me about a year ago.

But I would wait for @OVH_APAC to confirm this.

    Hello @Dazzle ,
There is no traffic overage charges on VPS and Dedicated servers in Singapore or Australia.
If you go above your quota of traffic during a month, your server will be capped to 10Mbps until the remaining of the month.
    Please note:

    • Traffic quota only applies for the public outgoing traffic, therefore incoming traffic is free an unmetered.
    • If you need more traffic on VPS, you will need to upgrade your machine. (up to 4 TB included).
    • if you need more traffic on Dedicated server (we include up to 10TB depending on your server), then you can upgrade to an unmetered option.

    Hope this clarifies

    Hello @IntelliMiner ,
The code is to be entered in capital letters. Also you need to be new to Public Cloud (your first project). Feel free to send a PM with your client number or email if the above does not apply to you and you still have an issue.
