Just read an article from WSJ, Ransomware hackers are hitting US school district. What an awful move!!!! Are you Ransomware proofed?

I can't believe there hasn't been a movie yet where Samuel L Jackson, Denzel, or Liam Neeson loses a wife or kid due to a hospital ransomware attack and hunts them down and does the needful.

Maybe Brad Pitt or Jamie Foxx and Quentin Tarantino would do it justice.

• he confronts the villains face-to-face and conducts an underground trial, convicting and executing them.
• he finds the kid who typed the actual command that killed his son, but when he sees tears in the kid's eyes, he turns away and lives out his life a shell of the man he once was, cut to McAfee anti-virus commercial.

I could also see this as a Sandra Bullock-type vehicle called Soccer Mom's Revenge, though only on direct-to-video.

After the success of Birdbox, Sandy B would get a Netflix deal for sure. (Plot twist, instead of killing the kid who typed the malware command, she Blind Sides' him and he goes to NFL. In the sequel, the kid, now in the NFL beats and kills his wife and Sandra has to then kill him).
