We have 16x/24 eligible for sale but aren’t actively for sale.

That being said, check out the IP sale markets.

Question - who is offering ARIN ips at $15, I would be very interested (I wouldn't be offended if you dont want to share the info  )

I would be very surprised someone offering IPv4 for $15/IP. The cheapest I have seen is $20/IP, and that was a long time ago.

  • sirs, i am not from the ip-scene therefore my question, price per ip e.g. 20$ refers to one year, right?

No, thats the price to buy them in bulk on the „second-hand“ market for IPs (since we ran out of fresh IP blocks in most regions). So, thats the price to own them (one-time payment).

  • Turning up the heat on the switch to IPv6!! But I do wish I had kept my IPs when I sold my hosting business a few years back

I am wondering, where can we get the cheapest IPs?

For leasing, check the Heficed market or https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/114478/the-aio-ip-related-thread-ipv4-ipv6-asn , average pricing would be $70-100 USD/month

For purchasing, check https://auctions.ipv4.global/ or the LET thread above. I think the average for this would be somewhere around $25/IP

You need to do ARIN pre-approval first

    https://www.arin.net/resources/registry/transfers/preapproval/

After you got approved by ARIN, then you can buy IPs on the market and transfer to your account.

Do we need a registered business in North America to become approved?

Yes, you need to have a valid business in ARIN region, they will ask you the several questions like if you have physical presence in the ARIN region, proof that you are paying payroll taxes, etc.

Yes, as an end-user. You’ll need a SP at minimum, though. But, if you’re going to get resources for ARIN, spend the few extra and register a LLC/INC. It’s cheaper in the long run.

Can't really confirm, all they wanted for us was a link to our business filing registry.

How many are you looking to buy @ditlev?

  • Why not rent them? IPv4's will lose all their value in the future. That is why I am not planing on buying rather just renting. Not a sustainable long term investment.

V4 won't fall out of favor in our lifetimes.

IP's will have to be > $100/ea before it'll fall out of favor.

Try to get resource or transfer approval, for org-id registration, only valid business registration document needed.

22-24 USD/IP. Although you could still get an APNIC account and request a /23 in v4.
