If a customer walks in asking for an ugly hat, you get the customer an ugly hat!

eNetSouth was the only Alabama VPS before they went out of business. They had servers in Birmingham if I'm not mistaken.. maybe if you do some Googling, you can find out who their DC was and maybe the DC offers VPS hosting

Wouldn't know what qualifies as "cheap", but how about:

  • @Adam: When we started this VPS venture last year, they were one of the datacenters we contacted about colocation... they never responded to us.

I just sent them another email. I guess we'll see if they want our money or not.

Hahaha, that's what I was thinking. He just ran like a baby xD

    He walked away.

  • From Server Corps:

Thanks for contacting Server Corps regarding colocation. Our
colocation is all inclusive, except for bandwidth. Bandwidth can be
billed based on data transferred, 95%, or a flat commit. We bill
bandwidth at $65/mbit at 1 mbit, down to $45/mbit at 100 mbits using
95%. We have no hidden fees. IP's are $1 each per month per server
after the 1st IP. We sell IPs in CIDR subnet blocks (2,4,8,16, etc).
Our current carriers are ATT, Global Crossing, and Hurricane Electric,
and we will be adding Cogent in August of this year.

$45 per megabit? In 2012? Srsly?

    It's ok, for Africa.
