Running a free V2Ray VPS for chinese LET users and tourists?
Im thinking about getting some cheap EU/LA server with CN2 optimizion for under 30 USD/m and turning it into a V2Ray server which uses CloudFlare.
Which providers would you recommend for this stuff? I would serve the config info on another CF domain with page rules to make it only available for Chinese users and here on LET on request to protect it from being added to the GFW blacklist.
Which provider would you guys reccommend for "cheap" CN2 "optimized" in EU/LA? doesent matter if oversold.
Also how feasible is this? What would you change in order to make it work?

I don't get it. Does China optimized network matter if you are going to use V2Ray with CloudFlare?
CF never works in China. CF gets cut off in China randomly , so anything going via CF is unlike to be called stable. (you get 50k/s traffic during peak hours with 50%+ packet loss). in order to take a bite on the piece of cake from chinese market, Cloudflare has a Chinese version with Baidu CDN. One of the most proven providers who has good reputation on stable cn2 gia , cn2 commerece network to China is BandwagonHost. There is no CN2 GIA that is CHEAP and STABLE. They dont happen at same time.
Free in this case might not be working. IP change costs money. anything free to help people bypassing GFW is just not happening
many groups running what they call it "underground airport"(https://github.com/sspanel-uim), this is management portal managing shadowsocks(R)(detected) and v2ray(https://github.com/v2ray/v2ray-core), trojan (https://github.com/trojan-gfw/trojan). it integrates with payment. Chinese market on bypassing GFW is pretty saturated. (the most smooth proxy some of the groups run are owned by the people who have CCP backgronud, you didn't hear wrong. They ban people from bypassing GFW but they also provide proxy for people bypassing GFW. but these money goes to their pocket unless something goes very wrong, they dont bother. They have split personality just like 1984)
5.cn2 gt is "cheap". or some optimized network like Racknerd DC2 and DC5 (tested by my friends in China). they are not good enough for 4k video but it's stable amost 24h/day for web and low qanlity youtube.
6.people always talk about VPN in China.(NordVPN says VPN in China, and give people L2TP, what a joke. It's all about affiliate commission) For GFW, the idea is completely different. VPN is for strong encryption. GFW deosn't care about the encryption. It only cares if (1) this traffic is understandable/ readable / or if the protocol is a common /"safe"/ protocol that is not used by any of popular VPNs. none of these VPNs will work in China if it's not whitelisted by CCP eg Anyconnect /PPTP /L2TP/IPSec /OpenVPN /SSTP/ IKEv2.
people use something like v2ray to obfuscate the traffic to pack it into websocket to fool GFW. common appoarch is to use websocket + tls + webserver to fake everthing making it look like a legit website say "Long live CCP long live the big brother" GFW reads the traffic and AI try to understand the meaning of the website and say OH it's a good web, you can keep talking to this server.

ps: if this is true, there will be no CCP then there will be no need for bypassing GFW in the future.
Why not just make a reverse proxy for LET?
