I have $26 burning a hole in my pocket, need dedi
I budget $100 a month for hosting. I have recently slimmed down everything and now am only spending $74 a month. I would like a dedi to install Proxmox on for testing purposes. I would like at least a dual 5420, 1tb disc and 16 gb ram with a /29 ip. If you can do this or better please post here or PM me.

I am on the East coast USA, so anything North America should be OK, no Europe please.
Wholesalteinternet maybe for your budget? Pretty close, $30/m DUAL 5420, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 200TB Monthly transfer. Or if you don't need that much storage, they have SSD configs, for the same rate.
NOTE: Never used their service, but for the price point you're after, they may be one of the best options.
I have 2 server at Wholesaleinternet and absolutely love their service. I was hoping to get one somewhere else in case they should ever go down.
Makes sense, another option could be heymman servers? I've seen some aggressively priced configs within your budget in the past.
Also Kansas, but I believe they're with Cogent. So not within the same facility, and you'd have to reach out to see their stock levels (upcoming cancels) as their site shows limited inventory.
Never used them but just trying to help.
If the money is just BURNING a hole in your pocket and you could spare just a few more dollars, you could get a Xeon server in Chicago from @TNAHosting , their last offer here was pretty good, go check it out!
my 2 cents.
Cheers!

@TimboJones
My pity. I will avoid posting when having some beers next time haaha
I totally missed it when he said no Europe.
thanks.
I think we can all forgive you if you buy select people, including me a Whiskey bottle.
Did you check soyoustart's Canada?
SoYouStart is too expensive.
Not only that but the price point as well.
€60 ain't nowhere close to $26.
It happens to the best of us
I went with TNAHosting, they gave me a great deal.
I see you already found something, but a provider I've used briefly, and that has servers in this price range, is Reliable Hosting Services: https://reliablehostingservices.net/
I used them to set up a temporary hypervisor while doing some VM migrations over a couple of months. No complaints. Only limitation is their 100 Mbit port speed, but if you don't need the bandwidth, and just need a server to do testing, then it's no big deal.
