MiB Mem : 818.6 total, 70.6 free, 332.7 used, 415.4 buff/cache
This is on a 1GB VPS. Tried with 3 different providers CentOS does the same thing with a 1GB provisioned vps.
Any fix for this? or is this normal? Thats about 200mb of missing ram.. But only with CentOS 8
While CentOS 7.7 reports just fine.

Hello Sir,
Newer Kernels wouldn't show the ram used/reserved by the OS itself such as virtual memory tables, memory-mapped I/O, kernel processes, certain caches etc. That's why the numbers don't add up.
This should you your total RAM
It is likely reserved RAM for kdump
