Lightweight issue tracking
I'm not sure if issue tracking is the right approach (terminology) but I'm looking for something that allows me to open cases and post messages (i.e log entries, action taken or metadata) to form a case.
Must be automatable (bots will be interacting). Preferably light weight. API driven or NodeJS integratable. Bonus points if data is stored on disk in open format like markdown or yaml.
Any suggestions?
Using github issues (on an empty repository) has crossed my mind, but seems to much work honestly.
Suggestions?

I don't know if that's what you're looking for, but I'll add it here
Sounds like Github issues/API seem easiest no https://docs.github.com/en/rest/reference/issues ?
Where's the offer? A bit confused...

I like Bugify. One off payment a bit high, but easy to use:

I like the way Taiga handles issue tracking, up for argument on lightweight but it feels lightweight to use.
How is this an offer again ?
maybe wrong category , Sir..
In case you are looking for something to self-host, Roundup Issue Tracker is extremely flexible.
