Game Servers Panel

SkuraSkura Member

Hello

Looking for recommendations for a game server panel, priority for free but if it's a few bucks a month then fine too.
Bonus - with that with a buying system
Thanks

https://pterodactyl.io/ is pretty nice, especially when you install a theme to it. It works with most games, Minecraft arma3, csgo etc.

Pterodactyl is great and free. If you want something super simple to install and that supports a TON of games (with more coming), check out the AMP game panel. If you are using it for non-commercial use it is only a one-time $9 fee for 5 licenses.

Pterodactyl + Blesta or WHMCS for billing would be a good choice. You can get Blesta for free with even the cheapest hosting plans from any one of BuyVM/BuyShared, NexusBytes & hostEONS. However if you decide to choose WHMCS then the cheapest I know is internal license which comes with SkyNet Hosting reseller plans which start at $8.95 per month

Thanks for the mention! We've been super busy getting the panel to quality level that we set out to achieve and we're almost there! We're currently in early access testing with selected 3rd parties.

I think GameDash will suit your needs perfectly @Skura as we offer a fully integrated support and billing module. It's super flexible and is already being used on https://oasis-hosting.net. Not only that, GameDash was built to revolutionize the game server hosting market and make a great hosting experience available to everyone so can confidently say that it is the most advanced game hosting solution on the market period.

If you want to find out more, feel free to join us on Discord as we've got a great community over there that we regularly ask for feedback. It's also the best way to stay up to date with everything going on with the project.

If you’re looking to resell, AMP has an enterprise edition coming out soon. The regular version can’t be used for commercial purposes.

@Skura You can automate provisioning & billing of Pterodactyl servers with Blesta by using the following module 😊

I heard alot of things are not supported YET on AMP. Do you know if that changed recently?

I thought they had an SDK to make it easy to incorporate almost any game. So technically it has endless gaming possibilities?

Maybe, IDK. I know a game server company that was using AMP that had big issues with getting a Rust map working because of a feature AMP inherently lacked. There was a workaround but it caused a lot of downtimes. This is all second hand though and was months ago, (COVID making it seem like yesterday). Maybe they got it all resolved

It’s not definitely not fully fleshed out but it’s certainly usable. The big 2.0 is coming out soon which will bring it more up to speed.

Had a really bad experience with AMP. Super confusing (mainly due to setup and the 2002 UI) and only meant for communities it seems. I had a lot of trouble getting any game servers set up in the first place.
